Please be advised that effective June 1, 2017, there was a change to our yearly parking permit rates, impacting non-resident parkers only.

    The Development Property Manager will have a daily report of vehicles that have been towed from the lots at the Development, check with the Property Manager to confirm. Then contact the Development's towing company for more information on how to retrieve your vehicle.

  2. How can I get my vehicle back?

    Contact the towing company for that Development. Towing information is posted on signage around the parking facility.

  3. I am a NYCHA employee, who do I contact about my towed vehicle?

    The Development Property Manager will have this information, as they have to authorize the towing of any employee vehicles.

  4. Who pays the towing fee?

    The vehicle owner is responsible for all towing fees.

  5. How much do the towing companies charge to release a towed vehicle?

    Fees are paid directly to the towing company. The towing fees for release of a towed vehicle are as follow:

    Fee Description
    $62.50 To stop a tow, after the vehicle is connected to the tow truck until the vehicle is towed off development grounds.
    $125 Towing the vehicle off development grounds and three days of storage
    $15 per day Storage of the vehicle after the first three days. After 30 days of storage the vehicle can be sold for salvage.
  6. Why was my vehicle towed?

    Your vehicle was in violation of our towing policy. Please refer to our policy in the Parking Rules and Regulations page.

  7. My vehicle was erroneously towed, how do I file a complaint?

    Complaints can be made via phone to the NYCHA Parking Services offices. Please see the Contact Us page for further information on how to reach the office.

  8. How do I know if towing is enforced at the lot?

    Towing is enforced at all NYCHA Development parking facilities.
